"Sherlock." the elder Holmes brothers warning tone could be heard from behind " You can't have your plans ruined by something as-"
"He won't notice it anyways." he cut his brother off, looking at the words of apology he had left on the window:"By the time he wakes up it will have faded" he justified.
"And yet you do want him to notice." Mycroft pointed out.
Sherlock was about to wipe the window clean. He did realise it was a stupid sentiment, but then if he'd wipe the words off, that would be like admitting defeat, so he decided against it. It had already mostly faded anyways.
"We could have Christmas dinner together if you'd like." Mycroft suggested.
"You're just looking for an excuse to end your diet early." Sherlock replied dryly, turning on his his making his way down the street.
EDIT: So sweet, brilliant ~nastjastark
drew a sequel to this:
GO CHECK THAT THING OUT IT'S AMAZING. Way better than anything I could ever do! Really, go see it, comment it, give her all the love you got!
Could this be? An actual art piece? A decent one? Well not that decent, but a halfway there. I asked the lovely ~nastjastark
if she could draw the story a sequel, because I really wanted one and she was doing commissions and she agreed and now I feel scared as this thing is nowhere near good enough. I'll let her decide if she wants to draw something related to it.
I wanted to do this as a Christmas piece, but I admit being slightly late. It was done yesterday & put it in my stash, but I didn't want to upload it before I was done with the descripton.
Not sure if the story was any good, but yes if you lookclosely it says "I'm sorry" on the window. Cheesy. I know
Used pencils, markers and watercolours. Tried perspective, but what is perspective? I really suck at it. I must forever stay in the world of abstract forever it seems. I like Sherlock's face, several other things I don't like it, but I think I like it in general. I wanted to colour the cobblestones one by one by pencil, but then I realized that I would probably commit suicide halfway through.
Honour me with your comments I please
Merry Late Christmas!
